High Efficiency Gas Furnaces
All Gibson furnaces offer a 10 year limited warranty
that covers all parts. Additionally, Gibson gas furnaces
are available with a limited lifetime warranty on the
heat exchanger, the heart of the furnace. Your
contractor can help you decide what furnace is best
suited to meet your needs.
95.1% AFUE Variable-Speed/
Two-Stage Gas Furnaces
This furnace delivers up to 95.1 AFUE rating which means
that the furnace functions at or above 95% efficiency,
one of the highest ratings available on gas furnaces
today.
Features & Benefits
ECM Motor: Energy efficient brushless DC (ECM)
motor gives up to 1 SEER point efficiency gain in
cooling.
2 Stage Inducer: Optimizes efficiency on first
stage heat and reduces sound levels.
100% Fired and Tested: All units and each
component (both mechanical and electrical) are tested on
the manufacturing line.
Low Boy Height: Easy to apply in low ceiling
applications, works well with taller high SEER coils.
Tubular Primary Heat Exchanger: Heavy gauge
aluminized steel heat exchanger assures a long life.
30 Second Blower Delay at Start-Up: Assures warm
duct temperature at furnace start-up. Adjustable
blower off settings (60, 90, 120, and 180 seconds)
30 Second Post Purge: Increases life of heat
exchanger.
Hot Surface Igniter: Silicon Nitride Igniter.
Utilizes Smartlite technology.
SmartLiteŽ Control Board: Exclusive Patented
technology, SmartLite learns the igniter's heat-up
characteristics then adapt the ignition time to the
furnace characteristics. As a result, the igniter is
energized appropriately, extending the life of the
igniter.
High Static Blowers: All models equipped with
high static blowers.
Flexible Category IV Venting System: May be
vented with vertically or horizontally, using either a
one-pipe or tow-pipe system for maximum flexibility in
installation.
Diagnostic Lights for Easy Troubleshooting without
Counting Flashes: Dedicated light for flame signal
strength and 2 lights in combination to indicate all
other fault codes..
Fully insulated blower cabinet for quiet operation.
Best Packaging in the Industry: Unique design
assures product will arrive to the homeowner dent-free.
LP Convertible: Simple burner orifice and regulator
spring change for ease of convertibility.
Warranty - 10 Year All Parts: 20 Years on Heat
Exchanger, (w/ consumer registration)
10-Year Quality Pledge: Replacement of entire
heater if the heat exchanger fails in the first ten
years, (w/consumer registration)
92.1% AFUE Variable-Speed/
Two-Stage Gas Furnaces
These Gibson furnaces are different than basic gas
furnaces because they use two-stage, variable speed
technology to provide more consistent and energy
efficient comfort throughout your home.
80% and 92.1% AFUE Fixed-Speed/
Single-Stage Gas Furnaces
Like all Gibson products, these furnaces are built using
proven components for reliable performance. A
fixed-speed, single-stage product is designed to meet
basic heating needs, with the best value. Some models
are also available in our compact size for tighter
spaces. The contractor will recommend the furnace that
will meet your efficiency and installation needs.
80% AFUE Fixed Speed/
Two-StageGas Furnaces
What makes this Gibson furnace different than the basic
gas furnaces is the two-stage technology it uses to
provide more consistent comfort throughout your home.
During the first stage, which is about 80% of the time,
the unit will use about 68% of its heating capacity. It
will always start in the first stage and attempt to meet
the heating demand. This reduced capacity is enough to
efficiently warm your home on mild winter days. When the
temperatures drop the furnace automatically adjusts
itself and enters the second stage to meet the increased
heating demands.
80% AFUE
Variable Speed/
Single-Stage
Gas Furnaces
Under normal operating conditions, a Gibson single-stage
variable speed furnace ensures constant comfort because
the motor will automatically maintain its programmed
level of airflow. Better indoor-air quality can be
achieved quietly and inexpensively when set to run
continuously. In fact, if you run your thermostat in
continuous fan mode, your electricity consumption will
be reduced from 500 watts to 65 watts over a furnace
that has a standard blower. Variable speed blowers are
readily available in the most popular Gibson models but
it can also be added during installation to almost any
model.
All Gibson furnaces are built using proven technology
and reliable components protected by our heavy-gauge,
scratch-resistant cabinet. The SmartLiteŽ control board
used on all of our gas furnaces helps extend the life of
igniters in furnaces using hot surface ignition
technology.
